Sharon Osbourne will be releasing her third autobiography, ‘Unbreakable,’ on Oct. 10. The book is sure to be a brutally honest and revealing piece of reading, as evidenced in pieces of the autobiography which have just been revealed by The Sun newspaper.
Shortly before the release of Black Sabbath‘s ’13,’ Ozzy Osbourne publicly admitted that he had relapsed on drugs and alcohol. The news came in the form of a Facebook message on April 15. Earlier that day, rumors of a breakup between Ozzy and Sharon began to circulate, but although the duo had become estranged, they would soon reconcile.
According to The Sun, Sharon Osbourne discovered on she and Ozzy’s 30th wedding anniversary that her husband’s drug and alcohol abuse had begun once again. Sharon reportedly saw text messages on Ozzy’s phone made to arrange drug deals for the Sabbath singer, one of which added, “Don’t tell the old girl.” After Sharon confronted her husband, Ozzy reportedly promised to attend rehab, but instead flew off to the U.K.
In retaliation, Sharon sold off all of Ozzy’s prized cars. “There was no way I was going to risk him getting in one of them while he was drunk and hurting someone,” remembers Sharon. “Ozzy says now that it proved to be the most expensive drink he’s ever had.”
Although the man and wife reunited, things apparently didn’t go too smoothly at first. After “cocky and arrogant” actions from Ozzy, Sharon allegedly demanded a divorce and £100,000 a month in spousal support. After Ozzy replied, “Over my dead body,” Sharon threw a cup of coffee at Ozzy’s head before attacking the musician. “I grabbed him and pulled at his precious hair with one hand, while trying to yank off his jewelry with the other,” Sharon recalls. “He went for me, trying to grab me in a headlock.”
Now, with Ozzy sober, the two are back living together as husband and wife. Sharon Osbourne’s ‘Unbreakable’ sounds like it’ll be a fascinating read, so be sure to pick up your own copy on Oct. 10.
