Saxon have added three exclusive club shows between stops on their upcoming UK tour with Motorhead.
It’s the first time they’ll have appeared at the venues in Northampton, Preston and Buckley since 1979-80. The gigs will be filmed for inclusion in an upcoming documentary.
They’re currently supporting the release of 20th studio album Sacrifice, which was released in March. Frontman Biff Byford recently said about tying up with old friends Motorhead on a trek unofficially entitled Bombers And Eagles Fly Again: “We’re looking forward to it – it’s always great for the fans when the two bands get together.”
The shows will mark Lemmy Kilmister’s first appearance on a UK stage since being forced to cancel a series of shows last month due to health issues.
Meanwhile, Byford has release a short tour podcast. View it below.
