There was only a few more days until Clutch thoroughly rocked fans with their new ‘Earth Rocker‘ album, but the band decided to get a jump on things by streaming their new disc before its upcoming Tuesday (March 19) release.
The album is currently streaming in full at the band’s website and can be heard here.
It features their stellar title track, which has been rocking the airwaves over the last couple of months. In addition, fans can check out their latest single, ‘Crucial Velocity,’ as well as such other standouts as ‘D.C. Sound Attack’ and the moody, mid-album change-up ‘Gone Cold.’ The new lyric video for ‘Crucial Velocity’ can be seen below.
Clutch frontman Neil Fallon recently told us of their approach, “I think the first songs we started writing after ‘Strange Cousins’ were faster, and I think we realized we liked that. It seemed fresh to our ears so we were like, ‘This next record let’s just not overthink it, but write a very fast for Clutch record and one that was sufficient and cut right to the chase.’ That was really the only kind of forethought we had going into the studio.”
If you like what you hear, Clutch’s ‘Earth Rocker’ is available for pre-order at both iTunes and Amazon.
