Jon Bon Jovi says his family are successfully dealing with his 19-year-old daughter’s drug overdose.
Stephanie Rose Bongiovi was last week rushed to hospital after being found unresponsive in her art college dormitory. She and a young man were both charged with possession offences but the charges were dropped.
Speaking for the first time since the incident, Bon Jovi tells Fox 11: “It’s human, you know?
“What I do for a living seems glitzy and glamourous. If you don’t take it too seriously it’s a great way to make a living.
“Life goes on. Things happen. This tragedy was something I had to face too – we’ll get through it. People’s warm wishes for my family have been really reassuring.
“So, we’re good.”
Stephanie is the eldest of Bon Jovi’s four children with wife Dorothea.
Meanwhile, the singer’s bandmate Richie Sambora will front the house band for Craig Ferguson’s Late Late Show on US TV during the week of December 3. He’ll perform tracks from his solo album Aftermath Of The Lowdown along with some Bon Jovi favourites.
