Bon Jovi will present a one-night-only movie in cinemas across the US on November 27 and Sweden on November 28.
Inside Out was shot during the band’s 12-night residency at London’s O2 and their multi-date run in New York’s New Meadowlands Stadium in 2010, plus their show at Madison Square Garden last year.
The United States showings will be fronted by a live question-and-answer session hosted by Bon Jovi from Times Square, during which they’ll talk about their upcoming world tour and new album What About Now.
The band chose the “dream” setlist themselves, contributing to what promoters promise will be a “unique concert experience.”
Bon Jovi recently confirmed details of UK dates on their 2013 Because We Can world tour:
June 8: Manchester Etihad Stadium
June 9: Birmingham Villa Park
June 12: Cardiff City Stadium
June 13: Sunderland Stadium of Light
July 3: Glasgow Hampden Park
Meanwhile, Guns n’Roses have cancelled their planned cinema show. Live in London 2012 was also shot at the O2 and was due to be shown this week. UK cinema chain Showcase say the cancellation was a band management decision. The DVD release is expected early next year.
