Kid Rock has released the song In Detroit to honour NFL team the Detroit Lions.
In Detroit is part of Pepsi’s NFL Anthems series, in which music stars write songs inspired by NFL teams.
Here’s the scam from the soft-drink makers themselves: “The Detroit rocker (ie. Kid Rock) and the Detroit Lions make a natural pair, and instantaneously the chemistry was there. Kid Rock + Detroit Lions = an anthem that just screams Made In Detroit.”
Other entries in Pepsi’s NFL series include Kelly Clarkson singing Get Up for the Dallas Cowboys.
