Wes Scantlin was charged with felony cocaine possession back in April and now the Puddle of Mudd frontman is pleading guilty as charged, but he won’t be going to jail, reports TMZ.
Scantlin was busted in January when he was pulled over in his car in Hollywood. Cops later determined he was in possession of cocaine. At the time he was also charged with two misdemeanor charges — being under the influence of a controlled substance and driving without a license.
Under his plea deal, Scantlin agreed to plead guilty to the cocaine possession in exchange for having the misdemeanors dropped. He was sentenced to completing a drug counseling program and must show proof that he’s enrolled by August.
