Saxon have postponed their Download festival warm-up show after singer Biff Byford contracted a throat infection. He says: “We’re in the studio recording some vocals. It hurts quite a bit. It would be too risky to play the show in Hatfield and drive after the show up to Donington. We’re thinking we shouldn’t risk the Download appearance or the album.”
