It’s been confirmed that Rod Stewart will perform with The Faces when the band are inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next month.
In an interview with MusicRadar, Faces drummer Kenney Jones revealed:
“Contrary to what some people might think, we’re all still great mates and we’ve never said we wouldn’t play together again. We all had dinner about a month ago and decided that the Hall Of Fame would be the perfect time and place.”
Jones said Stewart and the band will perform three songs at the Hall Of Fame ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio on April 14. The set will include two Faces songs and another by the Small Faces, who are also being inducted.
Jones added: “As to whether we’ll do anything else after the Hall Of Fame show, we’ll just have to see how it goes. But we’re all really looking forward to getting up on stage again. It’s been far too long.”
