Guns N’ Roses have confirmed a second London date as part of their UK tour. What’s more, Thin Lizzy have been confirmed as support for the entire string of GN’R dates. Come inside for the details.
Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham commented: “To tour with a band the calibre of Guns N’ Roses is an honour and a privilege. Being on the road with a great band who are also great friends is the perfect way to go. It’s like one big family, so we can’t wait to see you all out there.”
Guns’ UK tour dates are now as follows:
19 May – Nottingham Arena
20 May – Liverpool Echo Arena
23 May – Newcastle Metro
25 May – Glasgow SECC
26 May – Birmingham LG Arena
29 May – Manchester Arena
31 May – London The O2 – SOLD OUT
1 June – London The O2 – EXTRA SHOW
Tickets for the second London show go on sale at 9am tomorrow (Friday 23 March) through www.aeglive.co.uk
As a result of going out on tour with GN’R, Lizzy have now rescheduled six of their planned headlining shows for May. The new dates are:
November
Fri. 30: Bournemouth Academy
December
Mon. 3: Norwich UEA
Wed. 5: Middlesbrough Empire
Fri. 7: Liverpool Academy
Sat. 8: Edinburgh Picture House
Sun. 9: Nottingham Rock City
Two shows, though remain unaltered. These are Coventry Kasbah on May 15 and Guildford G the next night.
