After months of will-they-or-won’t-they speculation, Slash has confirmed that Guns N’ Roses won’t be performing at their induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next month.
“We’re not playing,” the guitarist told the Toronto Sun. “I would imagine that they asked us to play but I know that we’re not playing.”
Slash said he has mixed emotions about the Hall Of Fame: “Either it hasn’t hit me yet or maybe it’s been so long since I had anything to do with Guns N’ Roses that I just don’t really get it.”
Still, Slash said he does expect drummer Steven Adler – who was an integral part of the ‘classic’ GN’R line-up – to be there: “I could be positive Steven will be there. Steven wouldn’t miss it.”
But surprisingly, Slash isn’t 100 per cent sure if GN’R frontman Axl Rose will show up! “I don’t know. I would assume so but we haven’t talked about it.”
The Hall Of Fame induction ceremony takes place in Cleveland, Ohio on April 14.
