A further six bands have been confirmed for this year’s Download Festival, as day tickets go on sale.
The new additions to the bill are:

And this year, the organisers are introducing the RIP Metal Hotel. This is an indoor ‘pop up’ hotel located on the festival site, a short distance from the main arena. Each room will have two beds, thermostatic climate control, an en-suite wet room with toilet, basin and shower, storage space, a flat screen TV, and secure card entry. And all rooms will be serviced with quality linen, towels and toiletries by dedicated Metal Hotel personnel, as well as offering continental breakfast. A bit different to camping in the mud!
