Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has hinted that the band are getting ready to work on a new album.
In a news post in which he summed up the Foos’ busy year, the ‘nicest man in rock’ writes: “We’re not finished yet. There are still more shows to play, more songs to write, more albums to record, for years to come. I mean, if you would have told me 17 years ago that in 2012 I would be writing songs for our eighth studio album, well, if it weren’t for you guys, we wouldn’t be here. We owe you so much.”
The band’s seventh studio record, Wasting Light, was released in April this year and was recorded in Dave’s garage by former Nirvana producer Butch Vig. On the site, Dave refers to it as “the album of a lifetime.” Read the whole bloghere.
