Public Image Ltd are to release their first studio album in two decades next spring.
Its likely to be titledThis Is PiL and will be followed by a tour.
Talking toBBC 6Music, John Lydon explained why its taken so long to get the album done, considering the band reunited in 2009:
I was always full of ideas, but I had to wait until I had enough moneyto release an album. Everybody thinks I made such a fortune with the Sex Pistols. Well, unfortunately that is not true, to make this record we had to tour extensively for two years.
