Green Day have announced that their award-winning musical American Idiot will make its debut UK appearance in October 2012.
American Idiot will arrive in the UK on October 9 2012, kicking off a major national tour featuring a thrilling American tour cast, culminating in a run at London’s legendary HMV Hammersmith Apollo from December 9.
Tickets go on sale next Friday, December 9 at 10am.
“We’re excited to be bringing the US stage production of American Idiot to the UK and Ireland,” said Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong.
“We played to some of the most insane crowds when we toured the album there, and we can’t wait for our friends across the pond to see the musical.”
