Having been involved in one of the greatest rock autobiographies of all time and putting out his brilliant Heroin Diaries opus in 2007, Mtley Cre bassist Nikki Sixx is at it again with TWO new books in the works.
Mtley Cre legend Nikki Sixx has revealed that he is working on two brand-new books! The bassist and co-author of classic 2002 Cre autobiography The Dirt and 2007s The Heroin Diaries is planning to release the opuses in 2012 and 2013 respectively, with details of the content of either still annoyingly thin on the ground.
Neither book is like anything I have done before (I guess you can say the same thing about The Heroin Diaries and This Is Gonna Hurt, too) says the man himself. I pride myself on not writing the same book over and over and also not using a ghost writer. Of course, it takes longer, but raw honesty through words is what I am driven to publish After I get it all out on paper, I use a trusted editor to help me carve it into a palatable experience
Nikki also recently released a new photographic collection titled ‘This Is Gonna Hurt’ (or, to give it its full title, ‘This Is Gonna Hurt: Music, Photography And Life Through The Distorted Lens Of Nikki Sixx’), available now via Harper Collins.
