Pete Townshend played a 20-minute acoustic set last night (November 9), in front of just 200 people, prior to picking up aClassic Rock Award, withQuadrophenia being named Classic Album.
The event happened at the Bush Hall in London, when The Who great was joined by guests, including Roger Daltrey. Among the songsplayed were:
Acid Queen
Corrina, Corrina
Drowned
Im One
Following this, Townshend did an hour-long q&a session with the audience, about the making of theQuadrophenia album.
This was all to celebrate the release ofThe Directors Cut deluxe edition ofQuadrophenia, due out on November 14.
