Young Guns have posted a video for their new single, Learn My Lesson.
The track is taken from their forthcoming, as-yet-untitled album which was recorded in Thailand earlier this year with producer Dan Weller (Enter Shikari).
“We debated long and hard about which single to pick as the first from the new record,” says vocalist Gustav Wood. “It’s an album with real texture and variation to it, so making the right choice felt really important. It feels like a bridge between some of our older material and the songs that are on the new album. The song is about embracing the moment and not locking yourself away, and has a defiant attitude that I love.”
The video, directed by Tim Fox (Kids In Glass Houses, Skindred), takes its visual inspiration from the on-going political rallies in Barcelona, where it’s common to see barricade structures built up and adorned with protest slogans.
