Dan Reed has confirmed that Dan Reed Network will play a one-off show near London later this year.
They’ll appear at the inaugural single-day Enchanted Festival, a music, poetry and visual art event at Greenwoods Hotel And Spa, Stock, Essex, on October 12. Just 450 tickets will be available.
It follows the Network’s reunion for a single performance in their home city of Portland, Oregan, last New Year – but the outfit, best known for tracks Ritual and Rainbow Child, aim to make more appearances in 2014.
Reed reports: “Tickets have gone on sale today for the reunion show as the headliner of the first Enchanted Festival.
“The band and myself had a such a great time performing in Portland, and seeing so many smiling faces, that we decided this would be a good time to revisit the old songs and bring the old party back to life for old time’s sake.
“If all goes well there is promise of possibly doing more shows in 2014. Thank you for not forgetting the band or the music all these many years.”
Reed is also a curator of the Enchanted Festival. He says: “We all too often forget about why we put paint to canvas, strum a guitar, sing, dance or do whatever it is that is the passion of the moment. Enchanted is about re-igniting and exercising the creativity we allow to stagnate in our ‘going faster is better’ approach to music and art.” It also features Gregory Darling, InMe’s Dave McPherson and Georgina Harvey.
